    One-neutron halo structure of Ne

    J.G. Li · N. Michel · H.H. Li · W. Zuo

We have applied the Gamow shell model to calculate nuclear observables of Ne isotopes pertaining to one-neutron halo structure, these nuclei being situated close to neutron drip-line. As both many-body correlations and continuum coupling are taken into account in that approach, halo structure can be analyzed properly. Our calculations provide good descriptions of Ne, where asymptotic behavior is crucial for that matter. One-body density, neutron root-mean-square radii of Ne, and one-neutron overlap functions of Ne have been calculated as well. Our results support the presence of a one-neutron \textit{p}-wave halo in Ne, already pointed out experimentally. A similar situation also occurs in the ground state of Ne, which is mainly a \textit{p}-wave valence neutron coupled to the inner Ne \textit{core}. The excited state of Ne, which is dominated by a \textit{d}-wave valence neutron, has also been considered. A larger radius and more extended wave function occur for the ground state of Ne when compared to its first excited state. The present results suggest that Ne is a good candidate for one-neutron \textit{p}-wave halo in the medium-mass region.

On the off-diagonal Wick's theorem and Onishi formula

    Andrea Porro🇫🇷 · Thomas Duguet🇫🇷

The projected generator coordinate method based on the configuration mixing of non-orthogonal Bogoliubov product states, along with more advanced methods based on it, require the computation of off-diagonal Hamiltonian and norm kernels. While the Hamiltonian kernel is efficiently computed via the off-diagonal Wick theorem of Balian and Brezin, the norm kernel relies on the Onishi formula (or equivalently the Pfaffian formula by Robledo or the integral formula by Bally and Duguet). Traditionally, the derivation of these two categories of formulae rely on different formal schemes. In the present work, the formulae for the operator and norm kernels are computed consistently from the same diagrammatic method. The approach further offers the possibility to address kernels involving more general states in the future.

Quark and gluon GPDs at finite skewness from strings in holographic QCD: evolved and compared to experiment

    Kiminad A. Mamo🇺🇸 · Ismail Zahed🇺🇸

We present a framework for constructing Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs) using holographic QCD in the large limit, with a focus on low-x and finite skewness. Our approach utilizes holographic amplitudes for exclusive electroproduction processes to extract the spin-j conformal (Gegenbauer) moments of GPDs, which are then evolved to higher resolution scales using QCD evolution equations. Our evolved GPDs (reconstructed from their evolved conformal moments) are applied to analyze the electroproduction of and mesons, and we account for non-perturbative contributions in the - channel using holographic QCD. The results compare well with the existing experimental data. Our GPDs provide detailed information about partonic distributions and are useful for future experimental studies and global data analyses.
