R-matrix method and the nonlocal nucleon optical potential

Doan Thi Loan · Nguyen Hoang Phuc · Dao T. Khoa

The calculable R-matrix method is applied to solve the Schrödinger equation in the optical model (OM) analysis of the elastic nucleon-nucleus scattering using a nonlocal nucleon optical potential (OP). The phenomenological nonlocal nucleon OP proposed by Perey and Buck (PB), and the two recent versions of the PB parametrization were used in the present OM study of the elastic nucleon scattering on Al, Ca, Ca, Zr, and Pb targets at different energies. The comparison of the OM results given by the calculable -matrix method with those given by other methods confirms that the calculable -matrix method is an efficient tool for the OM study of the elastic nucleon-nucleus scattering using a nonlocal nucleon OP.

Local suppression and enhancement of pairing condensate under rotation

    Lingxiao Wang🇨🇳 · Yin Jiang🇨🇳 · Lianyi He🇨🇳 · Pengfei Zhuang🇨🇳

The rotation induced inhomogeneous problem is non-trivial and inevitable. In this paper a generic framework is developed to investigate the inhomogeneous condensate in a system of fermions under the presence of rotation. It is a self-consistent method basing on a set of relativistic BdG equations solved with typical iteration algorithm. Taking the chiral condensate for example we study rotational effects numerically and discover two inhomogeneous effects, the local rotational suppression effect and centrifugal effect. They may have significant impacts on the phase structure of various kinds of matter. Several systems in different physics branches have been discussed in the paper.
