Quark Matter at High Density based on Extended Confined-isospin-density-dependent-mass Model

    A. I. Qauli🇮🇩 · A. Sulaksono🇮🇩

We investigate the effect of the inclusion of relativistic Coulomb terms in a confined-isospin-density-dependent-mass (CIDDM) model of strange quark matter (SQM). We found that if we include Coulomb term in scalar density form, SQM equation of state (EOS) at high densities is stiffer but if we include Coulomb term in vector density form is softer than that of standard CIDDM model. We also investigate systematically the role of each term of the extended CIDDM model. Compared with what was reported in Ref.~\cite {ref:isospin}, we found the stiffness of SQM EOS is controlled by the interplay among the the oscillator harmonic, isospin asymmetry and Coulomb contributions depending on the parameter's range of these terms. We have found that the absolute stable condition of SQM and the mass of 2 pulsars can constrain the parameter of oscillator harmonic in the case Coulomb term excluded. If the Coulomb term is included, for the models with their parameters are consistent with SQM absolute stability condition, the constraint more prefer the maximum mass prediction of model with scalar Coulomb term than that of model with vector Coulomb term. On contrary, the high densities EOS predicted by model with vector Coulomb is more compatible with recent pQCD result \cite{ref:pressure} than that predicted by model with scalar Coulomb. Furthermore, we also observed the quark composition in a very high density region depends quite sensitively on the kind of Coulomb term used.

Kaon-Nucleon systems and their interactions in the Skyrme model

    Takashi Ezoe🇯🇵 · Atsushi Hosaka🇯🇵

We study kaon-nucleon systems in the Skyrme model in a method based on the bound state approach of Callan-Klebanov but with the kaon around the physical nucleon of the rotating hedgehog. This corresponds to the variation after projection, reversing the order of semiclassical quantization of expansion. The method, however, is considered to be suited to the study of weakly interacting kaon-nucleon systems including loosely bound states such as . We have found a bound state with binding energy of order ten MeV, consistent with the observed state. We also discuss the interaction and find that it consists of an attraction in the middle range and a repulsion in the short range.

Proton Tomography Through Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering

    Xiangdong Ji🇺🇸

In this prize talk, I recall some of the history surrounding the discovery of deeply virtual Compton scattering, and explain why it is an exciting experimental tool to obtain novel tomographic pictures of the nucleons at Jefferson Lab 12 GeV facility and the planned Electron-Ion Collider in the United States.

Heavy-flavored tetraquark states with the configuration

    Jing Wu🇨🇳 · Yan-Rui Liu🇨🇳 · Kan Chen🇨🇳 · Xiang Liu🇨🇳 · Shi-Lin Zhu🇨🇳

In the framework of the color-magnetic interaction, we systematically investigate the mass spectrum of the tetraquark states composed of four heavy quarks with the configuration in this work. We also show their strong decay patterns. Stable or narrow states in the and systems are found to be possible. We hope the studies shall be helpful to the experimental search for heavy-full exotic tetraquark states.

Direct Bethe-Salpeter solutions in Minkowski space

    J. Carbonell🇫🇷 · V.A. Karmanov🇷🇺

We review a method to directly solve the Bethe-Salpeter equation in Minkowski space, both for bound and scattering states. It is based on a proper treatment of the many singularities which appear in the kernel and propagators. The off-mass shell scattering amplitude for spinless particles interacting by a one boson exchange was computed for the first time. Using our Minkowski space solutions for the initial (bound) and final (scattering) states, we calculate elastic and transition (bound to scattering state) electromagnetic form factors. The conservation of the transition electromagnetic current J.q=0, verified numerically, confirms the validity of our solutions.

Magnetic moments of the hidden-charm pentaquark states

    Guang-Juan Wang🇨🇳 · Rui Chen🇨🇳 · Li Ma🇨🇳 · Xiang Liu🇨🇳 · Shi-Lin Zhu🇨🇳

The magnetic moment of a baryon state is an equally important dynamical observable as its mass, which encodes crucial information of its underlying structure. According to the different color-flavor structure, we have calculated the magnetic moments of the hidden-charm pentaquark states with , , and in the molecular model, the diquark-triquark model and the diquark-diquark-antiquark model respectively. Although a good description for the pentaquark mass spectrum and decay patterns has been obtained in all the three models, different color-flavor structures lead to different magnetic moments, which can be used to pin down their inner structures and distinguish various models.

Heavy ions at the Future Circular Collider

    A. Dainese🇮🇹 · U.A. Wiedemann (editors)🇨🇭 · N. Armesto🇪🇸 · D. d'Enterria🇨🇭 · J.M. Jowett🇨🇭 · J.-P. Lansberg🇫🇷 · J.G. Milhano🇵🇹 · C.A. Salgado🇪🇸 · M. Schaumann🇨🇭 · M. van Leeuwen (section editors)🇳🇱 · J.L. Albacete🇪🇸 · A. Andronic🇩🇪 and 51 other authors

The Future Circular Collider (FCC) Study is aimed at assessing the physics potential and the technical feasibility of a new collider with centre-of-mass energies, in the hadron-hadron collision mode, seven times larger than the nominal LHC energies. Operating such machine with heavy ions is an option that is being considered in the accelerator design studies. It would provide, for example, Pb-Pb and p-Pb collisions at sqrt{s_NN} = 39 and 63 TeV, respectively, per nucleon-nucleon collision, with integrated luminosities above 30 nb^-1 per month for Pb-Pb. This is a report by the working group on heavy-ion physics of the FCC Study. First ideas on the physics opportunities with heavy ions at the FCC are presented, covering the physics of the Quark-Gluon Plasma, of gluon saturation, of photon-induced collisions, as well as connections with other fields of high-energy physics.
