Non-mesonic decay of the -mesic via - ) reaction

In this article a theoretical model for the -mesic non-mesonic decay channels is presented. We present the resultant relative momentum distribution of bound - as well as in-medium branching ratios of and , which are crucial for the Monte Carlo simulations of measured processes and thus for the experimental data interpretation. As an example we also apply the model for the estimation of the detection efficiency of the WASA-at-COSY detector.

Structure of odd-odd Cs isotopes within the interacting boson-fermion-fermion model based on the Gogny-D1M energy density functional

    K. Nomura🇭🇷 · R. Rodríguez-Guzmán🇰🇼 · L. M. Robledo🇪🇸

The spectroscopic properties of the odd-odd isotopes Cs have been studied within the interacting boson-fermion-fermion model based on the Gogny-D1M energy density functional framework. Major ingredients to build the interacting boson-fermion-fermion Hamiltonian, such as the ()-deformation energy surfaces for the even-even core nuclei Xe as well as single-particle energies and occupation probabilities of the odd nucleons, have been computed microscopically with the constrained Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov method. A few coupling constants of the boson-fermion and residual neutron-proton interactions are fitted to reproduce with a reasonable accuracy the experimental excitation energy of the low-lying levels of the odd-mass and odd-odd nuclei. The method is applied to describe the low-energy low-spin spectra of the odd-odd Cs nuclei and the band structures of higher-spin higher-energy states, mainly based on the configuration. Many of those odd-odd Cs nuclei have been identified as candidates for exhibiting chiral doublet bands.

Influence of correlations between yields on the chemical freeze-out temperature

    Dariusz Prorok🇵🇱

A statistical (thermal) model is applied to the description of hadron yields measured at central nucleus-nucleus collisions at the top RHIC energy GeV and the LHC energy TeV. In contrast to the previous analyzes a more general form of the least squares test statistic is used, which takes into account also possible correlations between different species of yields. In addition to hadrons also light nuclei are included in the fits. Because of the lack of data, a toy model is constructed where the correlation coefficients are just free parameters. Because of this the presented considerations are speculative and should be treated as an imperfect illustration of the problem. Within these limitations it is impossible to formulate any definite conclusion, it might be only mentioned that for the considered examples the dependence of the freeze-out temperature and baryon chemical potential on correlations turned out to be weak.
