Bump of sound velocity in dense 2-color QCD

    Etsuko Itou🇯🇵 · Kei Iida🇯🇵

We obtain the equation of state (EoS) and the sound velocity for 2-color QCD at low temperature and high density and find that in the superfluid phase, , where is the value at the relativistic limit. Several independent Monte Carlo studies on 2-color QCD have been conducted intensively in recent years. These works have shown a clear evidence of phase transition between hadronic and superfluid phases. In our paper[1], we have investigated the EoS and sound velocity in both phases. Our result is consistent with chiral perturbation theory in a low regime of the superfluid phase including the Bose-Einstein condensed phase, and shows a peak of sound velocity in the high-density BCS phase. We also give detailed simulation results and a comment on the holography bound in this proceedings.

Strange partners of the doubly charmed tetraquark

    S. S. Agaev🇦🇿 · K. Azizi🇮🇷 · H. Sundu🇹🇷

The spectroscopic parameters and widths of the axial-vector and scalar , strange partners of the doubly charmed exotic meson with the content , are calculated in the framework of the QCD sum rule method. We model as the diquark-antidiquark state composed of axial-vector and scalar components, whereas scalar particles and are built of axial-vector and scalar diquarks, respectively. The masses and current couplings of these tetraquarks are calculated in the context of the two-point sum rule approach by taking into account the quark, gluon and mixed condensates up to dimension . The full width of the state is found from analysis of the processes and . Decays to , and mesons are utilized in the case of the scalar tetraquarks and , respectively. The partial widths of the aforementioned decays are determined via the strong couplings , , , and , which describe the strong interactions of the particles at the relevant tetraquark-meson-meson vertices. These couplings are computed using the QCD three-point sum rule method, most appropriate for the strong decays under study. ....

Quantum simulator of link models using spinor dipolar ultracold atoms

    Pierpaolo Fontana🇮🇹 · Joao C. Pinto Barros🇨🇭 · Andrea Trombettoni🇮🇹

We propose a scheme for the quantum simulation of quantum link models in two-dimensional lattices. Our approach considers spinor dipolar gases on a suitably shaped lattice, where the dynamics of particles in the different hyperfine levels of the gas takes place in one-dimensional chains coupled by the dipolar interactions. We show that at least four levels are needed. The present scheme does not require any particular fine-tuning of the parameters. We perform the derivation of the parameters of the quantum link models by means of two different approaches, a non-perturbative one tied to angular momentum conservation, and a perturbative one. A comparison with other schemes for -dimensional quantum link models present in literature is discussed. Finally, the extension to three-dimensional lattices is presented, and its subtleties are pointed out.
