Electromagnetic Transition Form Factor of Pseudoscalar Meson and $η - η^{'}$ Mixing

Abstract

The electromagnetic transition form factors of $η$ and $η^{'}$ are calculated in the light-cone perturbation theory. We show that it is unreliable to determine the \eta-\etap' $mi x in g an g l e w i t h o u t an y a dd i t i o na l n or ma l i z a t i o n co n d i t i o n so t h er t han t h e i r d ec a y w i d t h es t o tw o p h o t o n s . T h e p oss ib l e in t r in s i c$ c\bar{c} $co m p o n e n t in t h e f l a v or s in g l e t i s in v es t i g a t e d . T h e h e a v y q u a r k p ai r ha s d i s t in c tp r o p er t i es f r o m t h e l i g h t o n es in e l ec t r o ma g n e t i c t r an s i t i o n p r ocesseso f p se u d osc a l a r m eso n s .
