Direct CP Violation in Angular Distribution of $B\to J/\psi K^{\ast }$ Decays

Abstract

We show that the study of certain observables in the angular distribution in $B\to J/\psi K^{\ast }$ provide clear test for CP vioaltion beyond the Standard Model. These observables vanish in SM, but in models beyond SM some of them can be large enough to be measured at B factories.
