Heavy Quark Effective Theory and Inclusive B Decays

Abstract

I review the use of the Heavy Quark Effective Theory in the computation of total rates and differential kinematic distributions in inclusive semileptonic and radiative B decays. Particular attention is paid to strategies for the extraction of V_{cb} and V_{ub}.
