Naive dimensional analysis and truly strong interactions
Abstract
We question whether the canonical estimate of a strong coupling, \alpha \approx 4\pi, is always appropriate for dynamical symmetry breaking. Our discussion is motivated by the success of naive quark models in describing low energy QCD.
