Effects of Quark-Pomeron Coupling Structure in Diffractive Deep Inelastic Scattering

Abstract
We study the contribution of diffractive production to the proton structure function and the longitudinal double-spin asymmetry in polarized deep--inelastic scattering. We show the strong dependence of the structure function and the asymmetry on the quark--pomeron coupling structure.
