Constructing CP-Odd Observables

Abstract

In these lectures we review the general features necessary to construct $\text{cp}$ odd observables and study illustrative examples. We present in some detail the case of $\text{cp}$ violation in hyperon decays. We survey different observables sensitive to $\text{cp}$ violating new physics, concentrating on the search for electric-dipole moments in high energy experiments.
