Abstract

The -wave scattering lengths at finite temperature and isospin are calculated within the SU(2) Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model. displays a singularity at the Mott temperature , defined as , while is singular in addition at the lower temperature , where , and being the masses of the and mesons, respectively. Numerically we find MeV and MeV. We speculate on possible experimental consequences.
