Study of the Reactions $B\to D^{\ast }\pi \pi$ and $B\to D^{\ast }\rho \pi$

Abstract

We evaluate the non leptonic decays $B\to D^{\ast }\pi \pi$ and $B\to D^{\ast }\rho \pi$ in the limit of infinitely heavy quarks, assuming the dominance of intermediate positive parity charmed resonances. We find that the branching ratios are of the order $10^{(}-3)$.
