Exclusive Decays $B\to K\psi ,B\to K^{\ast }\psi$ using Heavy Quark Symmetries

Abstract

We use the new symmetries in the heavy quark limit to calculate the exclusive B-decays $B\to K\psi ({\psi }^{\prime })$ and $B\to K^{\ast }\psi ({\psi }^{\prime })$. The estimated decay rates are compared with experimental values. We also estimate rare $B\to K^{\ast }\gamma$ decay rate, based on these experimental data and heavy quark symmetry.
