Scalar $f_0(980)$ meson effect in radiative $\varphi \to {\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{-}\gamma$ decay

Abstract

We study the effect of scalar-isoscalar $f_0(980)$ meson in the mechanism of the radiative $\varphi \to {\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{-}\gamma$ decay. A phenomenological approach is used to study this decay by considering the contributions of $\sigma$-meson, $\rho$-meson and $f_0(980)$-meson. The interference effects between different contributions are analyzed and the branching ratio for this decay is calculated. We observe that $f_0$ meson contribution is much larger than the contributions of the other terms.
