Suppressed ${\text{te}}_{13}$ In A Democratic Approach

Abstract

Within a democratic approach based on discrete symmetries, we show how the charged lepton mass hierarchies and bilarge neutrino mixings can be realized. For the third mixing angle we find ${\text{te}}_{13}\sim \text{sq}\text{fr}\text{De}{m}_{\mathrm{sol}}^2\text{De}{m}_{\mathrm{atm}}^2\sim 0.1-0.2$.
