Abstract
The Bethe--Salpeter equations for the quark-antiquark composite systems with different quark masses, such as (with ,), and (with ,), are written in terms of spectral integrals. For the mesons characterized by the mass , spin and radial quantum number , the equations are presented for the -trajectories with fixed . In the spectral-integral technique one can use the energy-dependent forces and get beyond instantaneous approximation. The mixing between states with different quark spin and angular momentum are also discussed.
