Double Logarithmic Terms $l n^{2} x$ in the Heavy Quark Production $σ (P P ˉ \to h h ˉ) - σ (P P \to h h ˉ)$ Cross Sections

Abstract

Predictions for the difference of proton-antiproton and proton-proton cross sections in the heavy quark production within LO DGLAP analysis together with the $l n^{2} x$ terms resummation are presented. An important role of the double logarithmic $l n^{2} x$ corrections in a case of the large rapidity gap between a quark and an antiquark is discussed.
