Hyperon Polarization from Unpolarized pp and ep Collisions

Abstract

Cross section formulas for the $\Lambda$ polarization in $pp\to {\Lambda }^{\uparrow }({\ell }_T)X$ and $ep\to {\Lambda }^{\uparrow }({\ell }_T)X$ are derived and its characteristic features are discussed.
