The Eightfold Way

Abstract

An elementary description of the Eightfold Way for the non-specialist is presented. This article, for publication in {\it Macmillan Encylopedia of Physics, Supplement: Elementary Particle Physics}, is being submitted to the Archive for comments by colleagues.
