Production of ${\eta }^{\prime }$ from Thermal Gluon Fusion

Abstract

We study the production of ${\eta }^{\prime }$ from hadronizing thermal gluons using recently proposed ${\eta }^{\prime }-g-g$ effective vertex. The ${\eta }^{\prime }$ yield is found to be sensitive to the initial condition. At RHIC and LHC, the enhancement is large enough to be easily detected.
