Revisiting two-body charmed anti-charmed baryonic decays

Abstract
The study of two-body charmed anti-charmed baryonic decays using the topological amplitude approach is revisited. We include the contributions, in addition to the contributions, to these decays. The topological decomposition of , , and decay amplitudes are updated accordingly. Although the contributions are CKM suppressed in transitions, their effects are significantly amplified in transitions, as the relative size of the CKM factors in and contributions in transitions is enlarged by , roughly a factor of 20, from the one in transitions. Present data in decay rates allow or even slightly prefer non-negligible contributions. These contributions can allow much larger rates for , and decays than those only have contributions. Measuring these decays will be interesting and useful in clarifying the role of contributions in two-body charmed anti-charmed baryonic decays.
