C-parity and Regge Intercepts
Abstract
In this work, we obtain constraints on the intercepts of the leading Regge pole trajectories- Pomeron and Odderon- implies by C-parity and based on the heuristic argument that C-even exchanges correspond to attractive forces be tween hadrons undergoing elastic scattering, and C-odd exchanges correspond to attractive forces in the case of particle-antiparticle scattering and repulsive forces in the case of particle-particle scattering. In addition, the case of secondary degenerate trajectories is also considered and a lower bound for their intercept is obtained
