Proceedings of the talk "Study of CP violation in charm meson decays" for XXX Epiphany conference

Abstract

Basic idea of $CP$ violation and its importance for cosmology, Standard Model and possible New Physics are introduced. Recent (2019) discovery of CP violation in charm in the $\Delta A_{CP}$ between $D^0\to K^{-}{K}^{+}$ and $D^0\to {\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{-}$ decay channels and evidence for direct CP violation in $D^0\to {\pi }^{-}{\pi }^{+}$ decays in 2023 is discussed. Motivation and brief outline for search of CP violation in the $D^0\to V\gamma$, where $V=\varphi ,{\rho }^0,{\bar{K}}^{\ast 0}$ decays is given.
