Allowed region for the (second) lightest mass of right-handed neutrino with -inspired relations and sequential dominance
Abstract
In this paper, we evaluate the (second) lightest mass of right-handed neutrino in grand unified theories with the type-I seesaw mechanism that predicts an almost massless neutrino . By chiral perturbative treatment, the masses are expressed as with the mass matrix of left-handed neutrinos in the diagonal basis of the Dirac mass matrix . Assuming and the unitary matrix in the singular value decomposition are close to observed fermion masses and the CKM matrix, and their allowed regions are expressed by parameters in the low energy and unknown phases. As a result, for MeV and MeV, we obtain GeV and GeV in the NH, GeV and GeV in the IH. These upper and lower bounds are proportional to or .
