Abstract

Stimulated by the newly discovered resonance at Belle II, in this work we have studied the OZI allowed strong decays of the low-lying - and -wave baryons within the model. It is found that is most likely to be a -wave state with . We also find that the state could be assigned as a -wave state with . The other missing - and -wave baryons may have large potentials to be observed in their main decay channels.
