Abstract

Many excited charmed strange baryons such as , , , , , and have been observed. In order to understand their internal structure and to determine their spin-parities, the strong decay properties of these baryons as possible -wave excited candidates have been systematically studied in a model. The configurations and assignments of , , , , , and have been explored based on recent experimental data. In our analyses, , and seem impossible to be the -wave excited . , , and may be the -wave excited . In particular, and are very possibly the -wave excited and , respectively. may be the -wave excited . may be the -wave , , , , or . Furthermore, some branching fraction ratios related to the internal structure and quark configuration of -wave have also been computed. Measurements of these ratios in the future will be helpful to understand these excited .
