Charmed baryon decay asymmetry in e+e- annihilation

Abstract

We propose to measure the decay asymmetry parameters in the hadronic weak decays of singly charmed baryons, such as $\text{ldc}\to \text{ld}{\pi }^{+},{\Sigma }^0{\pi }^{+},p{\bar{K}}_0$, ${\Xi }_c^0\to {\Xi }^{-}{\pi }^{+}$ and ${\Omega }_c^0\to {\Omega }^{-}{\pi }^{+}$. The joint angular formulae for these processes are presented, and are used to extract the asymmetry parameters in $\text{ee}$ annihilation data. Base on the current $\text{ldc}$ data set collected at BESIII, we estimate the experimental sensitivities to measure the parameters ${\alpha }_{\text{ld}{\pi }^{+}}$ for $\text{ldc}\to \text{ld}{\pi }^{+}$, ${\alpha }_{{\Sigma }^{+}{\pi }^0}$ for $\text{ldc}\to {\Sigma }^{+}{\pi }^0$ and ${\alpha }_{\text{usig}{\pi }^{+}}$ for $\text{ldc}\to \text{usig}{\pi }^{+}$.
