${\Lambda }_c{\Sigma }_c\pi$ coupling and ${\Sigma }_c\to {\Lambda }_c\pi$ decay in lattice QCD

Abstract

We evaluate the ${\Lambda }_c{\Sigma }_c\pi$ coupling constant ($G_{{\Lambda }_c{\Sigma }_c\pi }$) and the width of the strong decay ${\Sigma }_c\to {\Lambda }_c\pi$ in 2+1 flavor lattice QCD on four different ensembles with pion masses ranging from 700 MeV to 300 MeV. We find $G_{{\Lambda }_c{\Sigma }_c\pi }=18.332(1.476{)}_{stat.}(2.171{)}_{syst.}$ and the decay width $\Gamma ({\Sigma }_c\to {\Lambda }_c\pi )=1.65(28{)}_{stat.}(30{)}_{syst.}$~MeV on the physical quark-mass point, which is in agreement with the recent experimental determination.
