Abstract
The hadronic decay widths and some ratios of branching fractions of the newly observed charmed strange baryons, , and are calculated in a model. In the calculation, they are considered as kinds of charmed strange baryons. Among these assignments, is very possibly a or , where has the total decay width MeV and MeV. The predicted ratios . is also very possibly a or . In these two assignments, has the total decay width MeV and MeV. The predicted ratios . As a isospin partner of , is also very possibly a or , where has the total decay width MeV and MeV. The predicted ratios . is also very possibly a or . In these assignments, has the total decay width MeV and MeV. The predicted ratios . The results agree well with recent experimental data from Belle. seems impossible to be identified with a D-wave charmed strange baryon.
