Light-Front Quark Model Analysis of Meson-Photon Transition Form Factor

Abstract

We discuss $({\pi }^0,\eta ,{\eta }^{\prime })\to {\gamma }^{\ast }\gamma$ transition form factors using the light-front quark model. Our discussion includes the analysis of the mixing angles for $\eta -{\eta }^{\prime }$. Our results for $Q^2{F}_{({\pi }^0,\eta ,{\eta }^{\prime })\to {\gamma }^{\ast }\gamma }(Q^2)$ show scaling behavior for high $Q^2$ consistent with pQCD predictions.
