Multiboson production in W' decays

Abstract

In models with an extra $\text{SU}(2{)}_R$ gauge group and an extended scalar sector, the cascade decays of the $W^{\prime }$ boson can provide various multiboson signals. In particular, diboson decays $W^{\prime }\to WZ$ can be suppressed while $W^{\prime }\to WZX$, with $X$ one of the scalars present in the model, can reach branching ratios around 4%. We discuss these multiboson signals focusing on possible interpretations of the ATLAS excess in fat jet pair production.
