Pattern of fermion masses from high-scale evolution

Abstract

Dynamical equations for fermion masses are derived using high scale universal mass generation and consequent mass evolution due to $S U (3), S U (2)$ , and U(1 $g a ug e in t er a c t i o n . A ss u min g ma ss g e n er a t i o na tt h e G U T sc a l e$ M=10^{14} $G e V, o n eo b t ain s hi er a r c h y an d a l a r g es p r e a d in f er mi o nma sses w i t h r o ug h l y cor r ec t v a l u eso f$ m_\nu, m_\tau, m_t, m_b $in t h e t hi r d g e n er a t i o n . T h es ma l l n esso f n e u t r in o ma ss,$ \nu_3\sim 10^{-12} m_{t}$, naturally arises in the solution.
