Operators in ultraviolet completions for Electroweak collective symmetry breaking
Abstract
In a gauge theory with SU(5) broken to SU(2)U(1), the Higgs mass squared receives only logarithmic divergence from all scalar-gauge interactions at one loop. The same pattern of gauge symmetry breaking can be achieved without any scalar fields in a five-dimensional model.
