Constraints on R-parity violation from recent Belle/Babar data

Abstract

We discuss possible constraints on R-parity violation from recently announced Belle/Babar results on the B\to\tau\nu branching fraction, and the bounds on \tau^-\to\ell^- K_S^0 (\ell=e or \mu) from Babar.
