    Dynamical properties and secondary decay effects of projectile fragmentation in 107,124Sn + 120Sn collisions at 600 MeV/nucleon

    The formation of the projectile spectator and the fragmentation processes in 107,124Sn + 120Sn collisions at 600 MeV/nucleon are studied with the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics (IQMD) model. The minimum spanning tree algorithm and the ratio of parallel to transverse kinetic quantities are applied to identify the equilibrated projectile spectator during the dynamical evolution. The influence of secondary decay on fragmentation observables is investigated by performing calculations with and without the statistical code GEMINI. The validity of the theoretical approach is examined by comparing the calculated product yields and correlations with the experimental results of the ALADIN Collaboration for the studied reactions.

    Constraints on shear stress tensor in viscous relativistic hydrodynamics

    We extend our hybrid model HydHSD by taking into account shear viscosity within the Israel-Stewart hydrodynamics. The influence of different forms of constraints on observables is analyzed. We show that the form of the corresponding condition plays an important role for the sensitivity of viscous hydrodynamics to the ratio of shear viscosity to the entropy density, . It is shown that the constraint used in the vHLLE model, results in most sensitivity of rapidity distributions and transverse momentum spectra to a change of the ratio; however, their applicability for large values of is doubtful. On the contrary, the strict constraints from \cite{MNR2010} are very strong but most established. We also found that as a function of the collision energy probably has an extremum at AGeV. However, we obtain that any considered condition does not allow to reproduce simultaneously pion and proton experimental data within our model.

    Azimuthal angle dependence of the longitudinal spin polarization in relativistic heavy ion collisions

    The azimuthal angle dependence of quark spin polarization in the longitudinal beam direction of non-central relativistic heavy ion collisions is studied in the chiral kinetic approach. Contrary to the prediction from models based on the assumption of thermal equilibrium of spin degrees of freedom that the quark spin polarization always points along the direction of local vorticity field, we find the two can have opposite directions due to the effect from the transversal component of vorticity field, which can lead to a redistribution of axial charges in the produced matter. Our finding is consistent with the azimuthal angle dependence of the longitudinal spin polarization of hyperons, which is mainly determined by that of the strange quark, recently measured in the experiments by the STAR Collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC).
