A new relativistic hydrodynamics code for high-energy heavy-ion collisions

    Kazuhisa Okamoto🇯🇵 · Yukinao Akamatsu🇯🇵 · Chiho Nonaka🇯🇵

We construct a new Godunov type relativistic hydrodynamics code in Milne coordinates, using a Riemann solver based on the two-shock approximation which is stable under the existence of large shock waves. We check the correctness of the numerical algorithm by comparing numerical calculations and analytical solutions in various problems, such as shock tubes, expansion of matter into the vacuum, the Landau-Khalatnikov solution, and propagation of fluctuations around Bjorken flow and Gubser flow. We investigate the energy and momentum conservation property of our code in a test problem of longitudinal hydrodynamic expansion with an initial condition for high-energy heavy-ion collisions. We also discuss numerical viscosity in the test problems of expansion of matter into the vacuum and conservation properties. Furthermore, we discuss how the numerical stability is affected by the source terms of relativistic numerical hydrodynamics in Milne coordinates.

Symmetry-preserving contact interaction model for heavy-light mesons

    F. E. Serna🇧🇷 · M. A. Brito🇧🇷 · G. Krein🇧🇷

We use a symmetry-preserving regularization method of ultraviolet divergences in a vector-vector contact interac- tion model for low-energy QCD. The contact interaction is a representation of nonperturbative kernels used Dyson-Schwinger and Bethe-Salpeter equations. The regularization method is based on a subtraction scheme that avoids standard steps in the evaluation of divergent integrals that invariably lead to symmetry violation. Aiming at the study of heavy-light mesons, we have implemented the method to the pseudoscalar pion and Kaon mesons. We have solved the Dyson-Schwinger equation for the u, d and s quark propagators, and obtained the bound-state Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes in a way that the Ward-Green-Takahashi identities reflecting global symmetries of the model are satisfied for arbitrary routing of the momenta running in loop integrals.

Forward dispersion relations for pion-kaon scattering and the K*0(800) resonance

    A. Rodas🇪🇸 · J.R. Peláez (Universidad Complutense de Madrid)🇪🇸

We review our recent analysis of scattering data in terms of forward dispersion relations, and also present the parameters of the strange resonances. This work consists of fits to the data that are constrained to satisfy analyticity requirements. The method yields a set of simple and consistent parameterizations that are compatible with forward dispersion relations up to 1.6 GeV while still describing the data. We also obtain the pole parameters of the and the resonances.

Further Evidence For Zero Crossing On The Three Gluon Vertex

    Anthony G. Duarte🇵🇹 · Orlando Oliveira🇵🇹 · Paulo J. Silva🇵🇹

The three gluon one particle irreducible function is investigated using lattice QCD simulations over a large region of momentum in the Landau gauge for four dimensional pure Yang-Mills equations and the SU(3) gauge group. The results favor a zero crossing of the gluon form factor for momenta in the range MeV. This zero crossing is required to happen in order to have a properly defined set of Dyson-Schwinger equations. It is also shown that in the high momentum region the lattice results are compatible with the predictions of renormalisation group improved perturbation theory.
