Abstract
We develop a nuclear mass model that is based on chiral effective field theory at next-to-next-to leading order. Nuclear binding energies are computed via the Hartree-Fock method using a Hamiltonian from delta-full chiral effective field theory. We employ Hartree-Fock emulators to adjust low-energy constants in the chiral interaction to binding energies of even-even nuclei. When applied to even-even nuclei with mass numbers the chiral mass model exhibits an overall root-mean-square deviation of MeV.
