The (J(max)+1)/2 Rule: Isomerism Involving Four Nucleons in T=1 States

Abstract

It is here noted that in a calculation with four nucleons with isospin T=1 in a single J shell the states with angular momentum J=(J(max)+1)/2 lie very low and become either isomeric states or ground states.
