    Effects of hyperonic many-body force on values of hypernuclei

    The stiff equation of state (EoS) giving the neutron-star mass of suggests the existence of strongly repulsive many-body effect (MBE) not only in nucleon channels but also in hyperonic ones. As a specific model for MBE, the repulsive multi-pomeron exchange potential (MPP) is added to the two-body interaction together with the phenomenological three-body attraction. For various versions of the Nijmegen interaction models, the MBE parts are determined so as to reproduce the observed data of . The mass dependence of values is shown to be reproduced well by adding MBE with the strong MPP repulsion assuring the stiff EoS of hyperon-mixed neutron-star matter, when -state components of the adopted interaction model lead to almost vanishing contributions. The nuclear matter -matrix interactions are derived and used in hypernuclei on the basis of the averaged-density approximation (ADA). The values of hypernuclei with are analyzed in the framework of Antisymmetrized Molecular Dynamics with use of the two types of -matrix interactions including strong and weak MPP repulsions. The calculated values of reproduce the experimental data finely within a few hundred keV. The values of in -states also can be reproduced well, when ADA is modified to be suitable also to weakly-bound states.

    Theoretical approaches on alpha decay half-lives of the super heavy Nuclei

    We considered the systematics of -decay (AD) half-life (HL) of super-heavy nuclei versus the decay energy and the total -kinetic energy. We calculated the HL using the experimental Q_{} values. The computed half-lives are compared with the experimental data and also with the existing empirical estimates and are found in good agreement. Also, we obtained -preformation factors from the ratio between theoretical and experimental results for some super heavy nuclei SHN and evaluated the standard deviation. The results indicate the acceptability of the approach.

    Variation of hadronic and nuclei mass level oscillation periods for different spins

    A systematic study of hadronic masses shows regular oscillations that can be fitted by a simple cosine function. This property can be observed when the difference between adjacent masses of each family is plotted versus the mean mass. This symmetry of oscillation is also observed for the nuclear level masses of given spin.

    Quasi-Elastic Neutrino Reactions on Carbon and Lead Nuclei

    We examine neutral-current quasi-elastic neutrino-nucleus reactions on C and Pb targets. We use the relativistic mean field theory approach to describe the nuclear dynamics. We compute the cross sections for the scattering of 150-MeV, 500-MeV and 1000-MeV neutrinos on a C target and study the effect of the strange-quark content of the nucleon which appears in these reactions via the isoscalar weak current. We compare our results with the data of the MiniBooNE experiment for mineral oil (CH). We also calculate the cross section for the quasi-elastic neutron knockout reaction of 20 to 60-MeV neutrinos on a Pb target which is relevant to plans to use lead as a target material in future supernova neutrino detectors.
