Li(,)Li transfer reaction in the NCSM/RGM approach

    F. Raimondi🇬🇧 · G. Hupin🇫🇷 · P. Navrátil🇨🇦 · S. Quaglioni🇺🇸

Recently, we applied an method, the no-core shell model combined with the resonating group method, to the transfer reactions with light p-shell nuclei as targets and deuteron as the projectile. In particular, we studied the elastic scattering of deuterium on Li and the Li(,)Li transfer reaction starting from a realistic two-nucleon interaction. In this contribution, we review of our main results on the Li(,)Li transfer reaction, and we extend the study of the relevant reaction channels, by showing the dominant resonant phase shifts of the scattering matrix. We assess also the impact of the polarization effects of the deuteron below the breakup on the positive-parity resonant states in the reaction. For this purpose, we perform an analysis of the convergence trend of the phase and eigenphase shifts, with respect to the number of deuteron pseudostates included in the model space.

Status of Alpha-Particle Condensate Structure of the Hoyle State

    Akihiro Tohsaki🇯🇵 · Hisashi Horiuchi🇯🇵 · Peter Schuck🇫🇷 · Gerd Roepke🇩🇪

The present understanding of the structure of the Hoyle state in 12C is reviewed. Most of the theoretical approaches to the Hoyle state are shortly summarized. The corresponding results are analyzed with respect to whether they give evidence to the alpha particle condensation structure of the Hoyle state (and other Hoyle-like states in heavier self-conjugate nuclei) or not.

Quark model study of the reactions up to the resonance region

    Kai-Lei Wang🇨🇳 · Li-Ye Xiao🇨🇳 · Xian-Hui Zhong🇨🇳

A combined analysis of the reactions , and is carried out with a chiral quark model. The observations are reasonably described from the resonance region up to the resonance region. Besides the , a confirmed role of is found in the polarizations of the and reactions. It is found that the and couplings are about and times larger than the expectations from the simple quark model, respectively, which may suggest the unusual property of and deficiency of the simple quark model in the description of and . The - and -channel backgrounds have notable contributions to the reaction, while in the reactions, the -channel nucleon and - and -channel backgrounds play crucial roles.
