Compositeness of Near Threshold Quasi-Bound States

    Yuki Kamiya🇯🇵 · Tetsuo Hyodo🇯🇵

We study the compositeness of unstable hadrons which lie near the two-hadron threshold. In the framework of the effective field theory, we derive the relation between the compositeness of stable bound states with observables. We then extend this relation for the quasi-bound states with finite decay width. A prescription to interpret the complex value of the compositeness is presented. With this method, we show that Lambda(1405) is dominated by the Kbar N composite component and a_0(980) have only small Kbar K fraction.

Shear viscosity in magnetized neutron star crust

    D.D. Ofengeim · D.G. Yakovlev

The electron shear viscosity due to Coulomb scattering of degenerate electrons by atomic nuclei throughout a magnetized neutron star crust is calculated. The theory is based on the shear viscosity coefficient calculated neglecting magnetic fields but taking into account gaseous, liquid and solid states of atomic nuclei, multiphonon scattering processes, and finite sizes of the nuclei albeit neglecting the effects of electron band structure. The effects of strong magnetic fields are included in the relaxation time approximation with the effective electron relaxation time taken from the field-free theory. The viscosity in a magnetized matter is described by five shear viscosity coefficients. They are calculated and their dependence on the magnetic field and other parameters of dense matter is analyzed. Possible applications and open problems are outlined.

, and the scalar bound state

    L. R. Dai🇨🇳 · Ju-Jun Xie🇨🇳 · E. Oset🇪🇸

We study the decay to based on the chiral unitary model that generates the X(3720) resonance, and make predictions for the invariant mass distribution. From the shape of the distribution, the existence of the resonance below threshold could be induced. We also predict the rate of production of the X(3720) resonance to the mass distribution with no free parameters.

Towards Lattice QCD Baryon Forces at the Physical Point: First Results

    Takumi Doi🇯🇵 · Sinya Aoki🇯🇵 · Shinya Gongyo🇯🇵 · Tetsuo Hatsuda🇯🇵 · Yoichi Ikeda🇯🇵 · Takashi Inoue🇯🇵 · Takumi Iritani🇯🇵 · Noriyoshi Ishii🇯🇵 · Takaya Miyamoto🇯🇵 · Keiko Murano🇯🇵 · Hidekatsu Nemura🇯🇵 · Kenji Sasaki🇯🇵

Lattice QCD calculations of baryon forces are performed for the first time with (almost) physical quark masses. dynamical clover fermion gauge configurations are generated at the lattice spacing of fm on a lattice with quark masses corresponding to MeV. Baryon forces are calculated using the time-dependent HAL QCD method. In this report, we study and systems both in and - channels, and the results for the central and tensor forces as well as phase shifts in the channel are presented.

A non-boost-invariant solution of relativistic hydrodynamics in 1+3 dimensions

    Yoshitaka Hatta🇯🇵 · Bo-Wen Xiao🇨🇳 · Di-Lun Yang🇯🇵

We present a new solution of relativistic hydrodynamics in 1+3 dimensions which depends on both the transverse coordinate and rapidity. At early times the flow expands dominantly longitudinally in a non-boost-invariant manner, and at late times it expands nearly spherically. These two regimes are shown to be related by symmetry. The effect of viscosity is also discussed.
