Sign convention of residues in QCD sum rules

Abstract

We show that signs of pole residues ${\lambda }_N,{\lambda }_{\Lambda },{\lambda }_{\Sigma },{\lambda }_{\Xi }$ for ${\frac{1}{2}}^{+}$ octet baryons are identical in the QCD sum rule approach. To do this we compare signs of meson-baryon coupling constants $g_{KN\Lambda },g_{KN\Sigma }$, $g_{\pi \Lambda \Sigma }$ and $g_{K\Lambda \Xi }$ each other.
