$\pi N{N}^{\ast }(1440)$ and $\sigma N{N}^{\ast }(1440)$ coupling constants from a microscopic $NN\to N{N}^{\ast }(1440)$ potential

Abstract

By means of a $NN\to N{N}^{\ast }(1440)$ transition potential derived in a parameter-free way from a quark model, we determined simultaneously the $\pi N{N}^{\ast }(1440)$ and $\sigma N{N}^{\ast }(1440)$ coupling constants.
